FactorX connects factories and retailers across Nepal on one platform, verified onboarding, product catalogs, orders, eSewa payments, and live delivery tracking. Kabim Tech owned design and engineering from Figma through App Store and Play Store launch.

The challenge

  • Two-sided marketplace with different workflows for factories and retailers
  • Trust and verification before transactions could begin
  • Short-form product reels alongside traditional catalog listings
  • Admin tooling for content moderation and operations at scale

Our approach

  1. Discovery workshops mapped factory onboarding, catalog management, and retailer order flows before any UI was final.
  2. Design system first, typography, color, and component patterns shared across mobile, admin, and marketing.
  3. Mobile-first delivery with Flutter for Android and iOS from a single codebase.
  4. Admin reel dashboard so operations could curate feeds without developer involvement.
  5. Launch assets, landing page and promotional video to explain value in under 60 seconds.

What we shipped

  • Factory and retailer registration with document verification
  • Product catalogs with photos and short-form video reels
  • End-to-end order flow with eSewa payment integration
  • Push notifications for orders, messages, and status updates
  • Marketing landing page and launch promotional video

Results

FactorX launched on Google Play with 5K+ downloads in the first months. The admin dashboard reduced content turnaround from days to hours, and the shared design system kept mobile and web visually aligned through rapid iteration.

Lessons for product teams

  • B2B marketplaces need role-specific UX, not one generic app shell
  • Invest in admin tooling early, ops bottlenecks show up before user growth does
  • Payment integration (eSewa in Nepal) should be planned in discovery, not bolted on at launch
